The private shaded parking is the entrance to the property; just crossed the gate few steps descend towards a very fresh roofed relaxing area, furnished with hammock, sun-bed and table; the greenery cleverly managed around us reflects the island's spirit and a big palm at the centre frames this delicious corner. From here you have access to the terrace in front of the house with its three doors inwards; the view stretches out over the sea, over the garden rich of fruit trees and of aromatic herbs. One of the three doors gives access to the fully equipped kitchen, very well furnished with a central grit worktop equipped with an ancient wooden fired oven for pizza and bread too; if you love cooking you cannot find a most suitable and equipped place.

On the left there is the entrance to the first lounge, an airy ambient with fireplace, a big sofa, armchairs, flat screen TV and a long table; the nice floor in ancient grit tiles, blends perfectly with the XIX century furnishings (including an enormous iron lamp suspended over the table), the big arched French window overlooks the lateral terrace. From here a nice ancient wood door leads to the double bedroom with its fabulous canopy bed and two wardrobes (of which one a wall wardrobe with wrought iron shutters); a special touch is given by the walls in coloured smoothed concrete and by the nice view over the dense reed just outside the window. A door leads over a small terrace with the small jacuzzi pool, rounded by a large spontaneous greenery and succulents, another door brings us to the en suite bathroom, all in smoothed concrete and with a big oval bathtub, leading directly to an additional outdoor courtyard with the open-air shower.

Still from the kitchen, a wide passage gives access to the second living room with its ancient green and white majolicas, an Arabic ambient with library, coffee table and a big narghilè in front of the low sofa; two big French windows overlooks the terrace. A great alcove without door and with a porthole on the lounge become the double bedroom with a wall wardrobe; moreover this lounge leads to another beautiful bathroom with shower in coloured smoothed concrete and to a third double bedroom, in a spacious alcove.

Behind the house there is a separate building with double bedroom and bathroom (shower) in smoothed concrete with wide shelves as wardrobe.

The outdoors are wide, wonderful, well-kept and so original.

In a secluded area, has a particularly impact the big scenic swimming pool with cosy little beaches and wooden sun decks with its sea view, while from the terrace in front of the house three steps descend towards a space shaded by a classic wattle ceiling, set up as a dining area with a huge cedar of Lebanon table, chairs and ducchene in smoothed concrete; from the hammock with its strategic position, the gaze stretches out over the countryside and the sea. A rock staircase descends towards a second big terrace, it too covered by reeds and with an immense wrought iron and wood low table, low stools, where a palatial open air kitchen with basins and professional stoves and oven (90 cm) is set up, all placed inside a masonry arch; a big cane field is the backdrop and the several species of roses planted here and there give a touch of colour to this so singular and protected by the wind ambient. Just turning the corner of the house we reach a solitary, hidden place with a round jacuzzi surrounded by high reeds and a small terrace equally secluded furnished with sunbeds and chairs.

The nearest descent to the sea is that of Nikà, highly steep, but abundantly repays of the effort done with its very spectacular sea, the soaring rocky walls, the flat and soft rocks to sunbath, and especially for its warm waters that generously flow out in the adjacent bay, directly on the seashore.

At about 3,5 km is located the picturesque small Scauri harbour, where it is possible to rent boats and dinghies The small town of Scauri offers bars, restaurants, tobacconist/newsagent and a small supermarket.
